Madeira Veterinary Hospital was built in 1934 and is one of Cincinnati's oldest veterinary hospitals.  Selected as one of the top veterinary clinics in the city by Cincinnati Magazine, we are honored to be one of our city's longest continuous American Animal Hospital Association member facilities, having voluntarily achieved the high standards of the organization for more than 36 years. Only 14% of animal hospitals in the United States are AAHA accredited.

We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. We treat your pet as we do our own. Our goal is to practice the highest-quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on helping clients provide their companions a long and healthy life. Our entire healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each pet owner. 

Our hospital is staffed with two full-time veterinarians and two part-time veterinarians. All our veterinarians are members of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA), and the Cincinnati Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA). We have a support staff of eight: 2 receptionists, 3 registered veterinary technicians, 1 assistant (not shown in the above photo because she's taking her final exams to also become a vet. tech.!,) 1 kennel supervisor and an office manager.  

Madeira Veterinary Hospital is a full-service companion animal hospital. Located at 7250 Miami Ave. in Madeira, Ohio, our hospital has been serving Madeira, Indian Hill, Kenwood and Montgomery for more than 80 years.  We are dedicated to providing quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet.  Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets, early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages, and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.

We also offer boarding at the hospital. We can perform any services during a pet's stay including yearly and senior exams, vaccinations, heartworm testing, bathing, and anesthetic procedures including surgeries (such as spays, neuters, mass removals) and complete dental cleanings.  For your convenience, we also offer house calls.
